A mid-sized health-massage house on Sukhumvit 31, open every day 10:00–22:00

Fourteen therapists, eleven rooms, and your hour starts on time

Relaxation begins with respect

A two-storey house on Sukhumvit 31. Not a chain, not a spa resort. Choose your therapist and your time, see every price before you come, and nobody sells you anything while you are lying face down.

One day at Baan Sabai

Everything is in its right place

Fourteen therapists, eleven rooms, forty to sixty guests a day. It sounds like it should be chaos. The only thing a guest is meant to feel is that it is not. These are the numbers that make that true.

The house rules

Four rules that bind us, not you

  1. 01

    Nothing is sold here

A therapist may not offer an extension, a course or a membership while you are on the mat. If one does, tell the front desk and that session is free.

  2. 02

    No tip is expected

Tips that are given are pooled and split evenly. There is no tip line on the receipt and no envelope on the tray.

  3. 03

The time you booked is the time you get

We hold your room for 15 minutes. Later than that and we still massage you, but the session ends when it was going to end, because the next guest’s does not move.

  4. 04

    The room is yours

Change the pressure, the temperature, the scent, or ask for quiet, at any point. You are not being difficult.

The team

Fourteen people, and you choose

Most shops say “we’ll assign someone”. We think you should be able to see who is here first — what they are asked for, how hard they work, and which days they are in.

Your first visit

The first fifteen minutes

  1. 0You arrive. Mint asks where you’d like us to focus. Not “how many hours”.
  2. 6Your feet are washed. Everyone, every time, whatever you booked.
  3. 12The therapist asks for a pressure from 1 to 5, and where not to touch.
  4. It ends on time. Nobody asks you to extend.
  5. +10Pay at the desk. The price is the one on this website.
